Dr. Q Consulting has partnered with dozens of districts, campuses, and organizations across Texas — from small rural schools to large districts — delivering results that matter.
Dr. Quentin Woods, Ed.D., is the founder of Dr. Q Consulting, where he helps educators win the classroom through practical systems, clear expectations, and strategies that actually work with real students.
With 30 years of experience in education, Dr. Woods has served as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal, district coordinator, regional behavior specialist, and international consultant. He has worked in classrooms and campuses of every level, giving him a deep understanding of the challenges teachers and administrators face every day — not in theory, but in practice.
Dr. Q Consulting was created out of a passion for helping teachers turn classrooms around quickly and sustainably. Dr. Woods believes that effective classroom management isn’t about gimmicks, trendy buzzwords, or unrealistic promises. His work is rooted in common sense, proven systems, and strategies that pass the “real classroom test.”

What sets Dr. Q apart is his focus on systems over slogans. His workshops and coaching are built around clear routines, consistent expectations, and practical tools that teachers can implement immediately. No fluff. No magic tricks. Just realistic solutions that reduce stress, improve student behavior, and increase instructional time.
Today, Dr. Q Consulting focuses on three core services:
- Win the Classroom – a two-day, in-person professional learning workshop that helps teachers build calm, structured, and engaging classrooms.
- Classroom 911 – a six-week, on-site coaching process that provides targeted observation, feedback, and measurable growth for teachers who need immediate support.
- School Safety Audits, a comprehensive, TxSSC-compliant safety audit for Texas LEAs that go beyond checklists to deliver clarity, evidence, and actionable solutions.

Dr. Woods works closely with campus and district leaders across Texas, partnering with administrators to strengthen classroom practices, support teacher growth, and improve overall school effectiveness. His approach is practical, engaging, and grounded in the realities of today’s schools — because lasting change only happens when solutions work where it matters most: inside the classroom.
